Mind-Body Lifestyle Medicine Shared Appointments

Dr. Timothy O'Donnell, a trained facilitator, will host a weekly virtual group shared medical appointment Mind-Body/Lifestyle Medicine series. Mind-body medicine focuses on the interactions among the brain, mind, body, and behavior, and the powerful ways in which emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and behavioral factors can directly affect health. This format provides an opportunity to begin to integrate the mind-body skills into your life, in a real and practical way, with the support of the group to help you work through any difficulties along the way.

During these visits, participants will experience a Mind-Body Medicine method, discuss with each other about challenges and motivations, and culminate with a brief overview of a Lifestyle Medicine topic such as Culinary Medicine, Sleep, or Exercise. Each participant is expected to set weekly individual goals. These sessions are not meant to replace your doctor visits for specific health needs or any mental health care that you receive.
